General Terms & Conditions
Tour Members are deemed to have read, understood and accepted the following terms and conditions. Blue Forest Travel Sdn Bhd hereinafter referred as “the company”.
1. Tour Deposit
Minimum deposit of 25% per person must be paid as reservation fee. The balance payment must be made 1 month before the date of departure. Unless the company agrees to extend the deadline, failure to comply with this requirement may result in the cancellation of reservation and forfeiture of deposit paid.
2. Tour Confirmation
The company shall confirm the ground arrangement status 7 days prior to the departure date or extend the deadline agreed by both the company and tour member. In the event of the company’s inability to confirm the tour booking by the agreed deadline, the company shall not be responsible for tour member’s own expenses incurred beyond the tour package prices quoted such as domestic flight, visa fee, transportation, accommodation etc.
3. Amendment Charges
Upon confirmation of the tour any subsequent made to the reservation are subjected to an amendment charge of RM50 per person per change.
4. Cancellation by tour members
4.1 Cancellation of reservation must be made in writing to avoid any misunderstanding. If the company receives the cancellation notice 30 working days or more before the date of departure, a minimum administrative fee of RM300 (or 10% of the tour fare, whichever is higher) per person will be levied.
4.2 If the cancellation notice of the cancellation is received 29 working days or less before the date of departure the following charges will apply:
15 to 29 days : forfeit of tour deposit
08 to 14 days : 20% of the tour fare
03 to 07 days : 100% of the tour fare
5. Cancellation by the company
The company reserves the right to cancel the tour and shall not be liable to any compensation on the matters arisen beyond the company’s control such as act of God, war, strike, riot or order from the Government of Malaysia etc. The company shall recommend alternative tours preferably to the same destination or other tours. Should any tour member decide not to accept the alternative tours, all moneys paid less the administrative fee chargeable minimum RM50, will be refunded to the tour member.
6. Tour Member’s Responsibilities
A tour member must have an international passport or other recognized travel documents which should be valid for at least 6 months from the date of return to country of origin; the necessary travel documents such as visa and vaccination and health certificates as required by the various authorities of the countries to be visited. Service charges and visa fees levied shall be borne by the tour member.
7. Company’s Responsibilities
The company undertakes to advise tour members on what documentation is required; whenever possible, assist passengers in obtaining the necessary visa. However the company cannot guarantee the approval of any visa application. If for any reason, the application for visa or necessary exit permit is rejected before tour departs, a refund of tour fare will be made less administrative fee.
The company shall not be held responsible or liable for any expenses, reimbursement or refund of tour prices if any tour member is refused entry or deported by immigration authorities resulting from the possession of unlawful items or improper travel documents or other causes.
8. Tour Information and Prices
Prices shown are current at the time of publications. Tour information and the price list form part of the brochure. The prices are subject to change due to increase in airfares, other transportation costs, hotel rates, government tax, currency exchange rate fluctuation etc. Therefore the company reserves the right to increase the prices on condition that it informs the customers accordingly before the departure of the tour. Should any tour member decide not to accept the prices increment, all money paid, less the applicable cancellation charges and minimum administrative fee of RM50, will be refunded to tour member.
9. Refund of Unused Services
No refund or reduction will be made to any member in respect of airfare, accommodation, meals, sightseeing tours, transport or any other services which are included in the tour fare but not utilized by the tour member due to personal reasons. Deviation tour member shall arrange airport transfer services at his/her own cost.
Free check in airline baggage and hand carry allowance is provided by the airlines may differ fromone airline to another. Generally the check in luggage shall not more than 20kg and hand carry luggage shall not more than 5 kg. Tour member shall bear the extra cost on overweight luggage.
11. Possible Changes
Airline schedules or local conditions may require sightseeing tours, hotels and routes to be changed. Should this occur, the company shall make alternative arrangements subject to local conditions. The company reserves the right to cancel or withdraw any itinerary or any reservation made for the tour member or decline to accept or retain any person from being a tour member if he likely to endanger the health or safety or impair the comfort of enjoyment of others on tour. The company further reserves the right to cancel the reservation if for any other reason any carrier, hotel or other contractor refuses to allow any participant to participate in the tours. If any such events, the company’s sole liability shall be to refund to the tour member any moneys paid, less the amounts for services already utilized and the administrative and cancellations fees.
Tour payment shall be in cash term. Payment by cheque can accepted provided it must be cleared at least 4 working days before the tour departs. Credit card payment subject to credit card interest surcharge. For any unsettled our payment, the company reserves the right to reject the tour member from boarding the aircraft on day of departure or withdraw him/her from the tour. The company shall not be held responsible for any inconvenient and cost caused by tour member in any manner whatsoever.
13. Travel Insurance
All tour members are encouraged to buy travel insurance to safeguard themselves against sickness, loss of money, cancellation, flight delays or lost baggage.
